It can be used as a bear without the hood and snip off the staff, so could actually use two seasons!!

Your dog's body is not covered completely but from the front looks adorable!!! The costume is for a fur costume made from a beautiful longer black fur that slips over the dogs legs to stay in place with attached hood. The underbelly and ears are trimmed in a lighter whitish fur. The Headpiece is made from a lightweight material (suede cloth, which is a fabric that looks like suede, or a synthetic leather looking fabric) with sewn on random buttons and twine.(please note that headpiece and buttons may be different than that which is shown, feel free to email me if this is a concern, but use what I can find :) Also of course this is a fur costume and not meant to be worn for any length of time as it can be warm. Also not all pets enjoy being dressed up, please keep this in mind when ordering.


THESE COSTUMES ARE MORE FOR SMALL TO MEDIUM BREED DOGS ONLY! This costume will not work on larger dogs at this time, please email me your dog's measurements to be sure before purchasing, thank you!! The fur can be hard to find and never sure what I can get from one season to the next,my advice to anyone thinking about purchasing... if you see something you like....don't wait


FOR REFERENCE ONLY Ellie my model is about 12 pounds (neck 10", length 9" and chest 16" and she wears the medium well! Just to give you an idea of size, these costumes are meant for dogs under about 18 pounds. Please message me if you need a different size and I can let you know if it is something I can do. Please do not rely on weight as all dogs like people carry weight differently. But as a very loose guess using past sales FOR REFERENCE ONLY!!! , xsmall would be for 3-6 lbs, small 6-9 lbs, medium 10-13 lbs and large 14-18!(however I also have had orders for dogs that were 22 lbs or a little more that fit into the large, so it just depends on the dogs build, so that is why measuring is so important :)! Again, please measure as they are not returnable or refundable due to the nature of the sale. This is just to help give you a guideline as to where your dog may fall. I also accept custom requests if you are in between sizes, need longer/shorter length etc. Thanks!


Measurements are as follows which are exact so you want your pet's measurements to be smaller or it will not fit. I suggest a neck and chest measurement that is at least 2-4" larger than your pets in order for it to be comfortable.
XSMALL:
Neck is about 11", length is about 7 1/2" and chest stretches from 10"-14"
SMALL:
Neck is 12", length is about 8" and chest stretches from 12"-16"
MEDIUM:
Neck is 14", length is about 9 1/4" and chest stretches from 16-20"
LARGE:
Neck is 16", length is about 10 1/4" and the chest stretches from about 17-22"

**** This is meant to help everyone as I want you to love you costume and I cannot afford the mistakes of inaccurate measurements of people who will not take the time to measure! I do not accept returns due to the nature of the sale. If you ask to return , this will be the response. Costumes are not returnable because they can be stretched out and ruined by trying to fit on a pup that is too big, used for photos or events and then returned, etc. , . I cannot resell costumes that have been sent out..I’m sure you would not want a costume another pup had on. They are still animals and can have fleas, costumes have been covered in fur when returned and so on.. therefore I have to enforce a strict policy. I am not a big box company, I’m just a mom that makes everything herself from her home. Thank you !
